Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new technology start up. We are a cloud based software solution and we manage and analyse costs on behalf of business users. We would like to see modern and clean designs that are not complicated with elaborate fonts or typefaces - simple is best. The use of modern and sophisticted colours is required. We are happy to consider an icon/logo to compliment the typeface. The logo should look good in one or two colours including greyscale. The name costcapture.com can be distriguished by the words "cost" and "capture" using colour etc but we are open to consider designs with all the same colour. WE DO NOT WANT complicated or elaborate fonts or typefaces....simple is most definitely best.
Our service is innovative, new and modern and our logo must reflect that. Our service will initially be available in USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Canada, Ireland and other english speaking countries. We will be targeting business users so the logo much be professional and reliable but not too unfriendly. The winning design(er) will be the one that reflects on a simple but strong design that focuses on our confidence and innovation in the service we are promoting.
