Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a web video series related to arts & crafts. It's a contest - contestants and viewers will be predominantly female.

We have one element that we'd like to incorporate (a stopwatch with scissors for hands), but need to flesh out the complete logo with show name.

I'm attaching a sample of the stopwatch, a few existing print images, as well as some stills of a related set - the color palette will be the same.
