Logo Design Brief

Welcome all fellow designers to this project,

PokeSect is looking for a new image. We are a small, but growing, community of like-minded poker players who share the same ideals or beliefs. In short, we value poker not only as a card game, but as a lifestyle. Everything we do must be congruent with our beliefs; we stay in shape not only to look good, but to increase our poker winrate, we study nutrition not only to live longer, but to provide our body the fuel it needs to perform better at the poker tables, we give back money/work to charity in an effort to get to a point where you are actually doing it because it's the right thing, not to make you feel better, among other things...

We are looking for two designs:

*** 1st PRIZE - An abstract logo design

The logo must represent our ideas and beliefs. Possibilities are endless here. The symbol must be simple. Search for images/logos represetting sects to get an idea of what could be used (cross, religious symbols, simple crest, etc...) . Try to add poker to the design in a very subtle way (don't use obvious poker content like chips, cards or poker tables). Do not add letters to the design.

*** 2nd PRIZE - A Character Logo:

The idea is very clear in our minds: Lazar Angelov's physique (google it) wearing an open hoodie revealing his perfect 6-pack abs. It must also evoke a sense of complete relaxation/calmness/or meditative state.

Work on the one you would like the most, one -the abstract- for the creative minds, the other -character logo- for the ones who like to have a clear idea of what someone wants before putting any time into the design.

Alternatively, submit logos for both przes and get a chance to win them all! Good luck!
