Logo Design Brief

I need a new logo mark for my personal portfolio site. I'm looking for new and original way to combine my initials JR. It needs to be modern and bold, but simple. Not just combining the letters in an interesting font, but making it into a symbol. I generally use darker colors with oranges and yellows for my branding, but I'm open to other colors. The new logo MUST function well in B&W.
