Logo Design Brief
My company issues free cell phones and free minutes to low income families. There is no strings attached and no money necessary. It's a fun and exciting job that benefits those in need. I want a simple logo that can be easily reproduced in two colors (for cost) on shirts, business cards and marketing material.
- One challenge we find when distributing phones is folks think there is a catch and are reluctant to accept so having an official looking logo might give us a bit more legitimacy. To expand on that statement having a logo that looks even a bit governmental in nature might help bridge that gap in folks minds
- Another logo image I considered involved the fact that we benefit those in need and connect people. So warm, family and beneficial are words that come to mind.
Trying to avoid abstract or anything that looks childish or cheap
We want the tagline "assuring those in need aren't left behind" to be included
Updates
After reviewing many designs I would like to update our brief. We would like to see the tag line included in the final choice. Additionally, we have found ourselves partial to the green and orange logos. These colors seem to not only "pop" but look good depending on font. Leaning towards the logos that focus on our name (cometimes in a creative font) and added some creative effects to it to symbolize cellular, or signal or customers receiving our product while not being too abstract.

Hard to capture the right hue in green or orange so I am backing off this recommendation and asking you (the creative genius) to chose colors that make the most sense to you. Want to continue to be edgy and have a technology feel

Wanted to again reiterate that we no longer request orange or green we want the artists to be able to decide what colors work best for their design. Additionally, looking for unique and creative that is a bit edgy and modern. Invokes technology and fun but not too abstract. Also, looking to have tagline incorporated if possible and legible even if printed on a business card or other. Seeing some amazingly talented artists
