ALL DESIGNERS PLEASE READ THIS MESSAGE #1:

First, I am thrilled that so many talented designers are submitting very creative designs. BUT, a relative FEW number of these designs fully comply with the brief for the project. (Please re-read the brief very carefully!) The biggest issues are:

1) I am asking for a logo for TEAM USA99, NOT a logo for the Code of Support Foundation. (The existing COSF logo is provided as an attachment and I am NOT looking to replace that.)

2) The featured element of the design should be "TEAM USA99". This is the subject of the design and the whole purpose of the project.

3) ALL designs submitted must include either the full COSF logo provided, or at least the shield from the COSF logo. The shield should be reproduced exactly as it appears in the COSF logo, NOT abstracted or redesigned. This is important for brand integrity.

4) ALL designs must include either "Code of Support Foundation" (subordinate to "TEAM USA99") or the acronym, "COSF."

5) ALL designs must include the TEAM USA99 tagline, "Doing Our Share"

I will give you all feedback on each of your submissions. For designs that are rejected, most will be because of non-compliance with the project brief, one or more of the items 1) through 5) above.

Please don't be discouraged by this. I see a lot of great work here, we just need to target the project brief more carefully.

MESSAGE #2:

I have sent individual feedback on each of your designs. They are all 2*, 3* or 4*

2* designs are pretty far off the mark, best take a different approach.

3* designs are closer and may be worth pursuing after reading Message #1 carefully.

4* were very few in number, but they are the closest to what I'm looking for.

Please save yourselves and me some time by not submitting multiple variations of the same design with just minor changes. I can give you feedback on the general concept, and if it's 4* then you might try some variations on it.

Looking forward to a round 2 with more on-target designs that comply with the brief.

MESSAGE #3 (Feb 7)

With 3 days left, only designs rated 4-stars or higher remain under consideration. Consider all others (3-star or less) to have been eliminated. There is still time for additional designers/designs to be submitted.

MESSAGE #4 (Feb 14)
The eleven semi-finalist designs have been reviewed, and four have been selected as finalists. I will be communicating with each of the eleven to tell them their status in the final selection process.
