Logo Design Brief

RiverBend is a group of Aussie pork producers who have banded together to market their pork and bulk purchase raw commodities. We have also bought a piggery together as well as operating our own businesses and aim to continue growing the business in an effort to remain as a viable, profitable, sustainable business utilizing modern and innovative technology whilst maintaining superior quality. RiverBend is the mother company and we have smaller companies under this banner that specialise in marketing, tech services, purchasing and development. We intend to market internationally as well as nationally. Our piggery is at the bend of the river in beautiful northern NSW hence the name. We are all high health piggeries using the same genetics, are antibiotic free and are family/generational farms. We are chasing a simplistic logo focusing on the R and B, maybe as a "brand" approach (as in a hot iron in the fire brand) and maybe with a simplistic map of Australia around it, beside it......? Greens and blues could be good colour choices depicting our clean, green, farming aspect and blue to represent the river. Another idea could be having River to the left of large RB and Bend on the right, underneath that Farmers Feeding Families and under that a pig rowing a boat (a quirky idea similar to Margaret River's BIG RED pastured pork).

Requirements

Must have

• Must reflect that we are Australian pork producers operating a business to help other producers. Must be fresh colours, simple but quirky design so is easily identifiable.

Nice to have

• "Brand" look - as in a slightly burnt edge look for the RB & the stylised Australia & catch phrase Farmers Feeding Families. Could even have the stylised Australia with the east coast depicting a pig profile to incorporate Australia & pork.

Should not have

• Dark depressing colours or pictures that depict the pork industry in a negative manner.
