Our company is a new pharmaceutical company based in Melbourne, Australia. We have operating teams in France, Germany and the US. Our company is focused on oncology (cancer)
We develop a particular type of drug called a "radiopharmaceutical" or "theranostic". Essentially we attach radioactivity (can be low dose or high dose, depending on if the goal is to image or treat the patient) to targeting molecules and they deliver that radioactivity like a kind of smart bomb directly to the tumour cells. Theranostics are cool because they allow you to see where the drug goes with imaging and then scale up the correct amount of dose to treat the patient, with very few side-effects.
We are not developing "early stage" assets, rather our company has licensed a whole lot of products that are nearer to being commercially ready. As such we are not looking for a logo that has a "start-up" feel, we're looking for a bit more gravitas. Our products treat brain, kidney and prostate cancer so it's kind of a serious business.
That said, we've been a bit of a stealth project and have surprised a lot of people. So "cool" is welcome.
We've attached a short deck that tells a bit about the technology concept and a few product visuals. Ideas could incorporate targeting, aiming, "zero-ing", spotlighting, etc. Our company name "Telix" literally comes from "Targeting the Helix" - radiation generally does damage to cancer cells by causing DNA damage. A logo could involve helices but only if they were cleverly woven in (a bit cliched otherwise).
As a healthcare company we prefer blues/greens/purples, generally lighter hues. We generally try to avoid red (blood), yellow/orange (pus), black (death). We'd like to convey power, confidence, assertiveness, trust ... and at the same time a bit of healing/gentleness.

Requirements
Must have
- Gravitas/maturity
Nice to have
- Something that exudes health/calm - we are a cancer company
Should not have
- DNA strands unless cleverly used. We've attached our current "working" logo - it's lousy. We include it as an exhibit of what we don't want.
