CD Cover Design Brief
Dear Friends, I am looking for design and cover material for a CD that will be part of a group of three CDs that need to be slightly related to one another, yet the CDs are completely different: One is unaccompanied trumpet (Kitchen Music: Art of the Single Line vol.1), one is a classical recital CD ( An Unquiet Prayer), and one is a trumpet and piano jazz duo (Better Days). For this contest you choose the one you want. Although this is listed as a single project, I am expecting to purchase three designs for three CDs, and it is likely that I want the winner of this contest to be given the contracts for the other two CDs, which is why this is not listed as 3 contests. - I am thinking of beautiful, artful photos and graphics. ECM CDs. Miro/ Klee type art work like high period Columbia jazz records of the 1950s and 60s . Open to any images that are artistic and compelling, interesting. The particular relationship between the CDs is open: color, style, motifs, or perhaps a trumpet somewhere in the design. At this moment I am thinking of the unity of the book series by Don Miguel Ruiz. Open to your creative ideas!
