Logo Design Brief

I am looking for, I believe you call it a three-point logo. So I can have a stand-alone emblem, a name only, and a emblem plus the name. It will be for a new chiropractic clinic. I like the idea of having the L that starts level spine have something to do with a vertebra of the spine in general. I played around on my own computer and had a spine with the pelvis and the femur still attached in the shape of an L. But I'm not in love with it. I would like it to look semi-professional, but this will always be a family practice. Not real picky on color.
