Logo Design Brief
We are after an eye catching and easy to read logo for the sailing catamaran that we are helping build. Her name is 'Barefoot Sunset' because her owners have spent over 25 years in the mining and construction insustries wearing steel capped boots all day every day and, on board, can now go barefoot as they sail over the horizon and into the sunset when they retire in about two years time after a particuarly tricky last few years. The logo needs to be easy to read from a distance as it will be used to identify the boat across the stern, and also translate well to an embroidery / print file so it can be used on t-shirts, stubby coolers, hats etc. We would like it to be colourful, include illustration as well as her name...

Requirements
Must have
- Colour, integration of name with picture, words easy to read so writing not too stylised,
Nice to have
- We have previously been playing around with something ourselves but have no talent in this area - we have incorporated obvious stuff like a sun setting over the words and barefoot prints waling up to / along the words... Looks OK, like the idea but it ends up being nothing special, we also had one sketch from a friend that had the sun setting over the words but the sun was a stylised pheonix to symbolise their new beginning which was quite cool but it looked a bit like a fiery chicken...
