Logo Design Brief

I run a small startup consulting company specializing in protective security and private investigations. I want a corporate logo with the company name in all uppercase. I have attached a sample of the old logo, which we plan to replace with this project. I prefer simplicity, such as black font on a white background. However, I'm open to other ideas and colors. If you need more information about the company, visit our website at www.JanissarySI.com. I have also attached some logos from other companies that are similar to the direction I want to go. It would also be cool to have some sort of corporate insignia, similar to that of Triple Canopy or Academi (attached logos). Also, the design should be something that looks good when embroidered on a polo shirt. Lastly, I want to drop "consulting" from the logo and just have it say "Janissary".
