Logo Design Brief
We are seeking a logo for a Public Health project called the "Gender Roles, Equality and Transformations" (GREAT) Project. The GREAT Project aims to improve gender equity and reproductive health in post-conflict Northern Uganda by facilitating the formation of gender equitable norms, and attitudes and behaviors which positively influence health outcomes among boys and girls ages 10 to 19. The GREAT Project is currently utilizing research findings from its first phase to design interventions which will capitalize on community institutions already in place to launch activities aimed at promoting gender equity and positive sexual and reproductive health behaviors while maintaining the cultural integrity of the Acholi people in Northern Uganda.
Logos submitted should have a distinctly African (ideally Ugandan/East African) vibe, reflect the progressive themes of positive adolescent sexual and reproductive health, gender equity, and/or cultural revitalization specific to the context of Northern Uganda.
More information on the project can be found at tinyurl.com/projectGREAT
