Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for our international & domestic crating and packaging company. We are a Canadian company but provide service to countries around the would and would like our logo to reflect that. It doesn't need to be complex. We were thinking a globe of some sort over the "AML Crating Services" text with a maple leaf at the end of the text. We have our pre-existing logo and like the maple leaf/underline. For our website we need a white logo but for our letterhead black would be most desirable.
