Logo Design Brief

I would like a new logo and stationary package for a business and landlord tenant law firm which is based in Jacksonville, Florida but manages assets south through Orlando and west to Tampa. It should convey the twenty years of experience gained while working in the area of property acquisition and facilities management. I am looking for something that represents financial security and/or long term consistent income. I primarily represent property owners and Landlords over tenants. A good portion of my clients are foreign nationals who have sought out the safety and security of the United States for stable investment and protection from currency risks. I often assist clients in the acquisition and management of properties for long term retirement income. My firm is not a one stop shop which performs each phase of the investment from contract to tenant and income, but rather we act in a supervisory capacity over vendors protecting our client's interests. The logo should appeal internationally and while in color should have a gray scale format for certain media. I have attached my old logo which just does not do what I am looking for.
