Logo Design Brief

I need a logo designed that will be used for a K9 police nonprofit. Using/improving the attached logo, I need the words "Blue Buddy" (no quotation marks in the design please) to be the focus of the design.

I would like to stick to the original logo design as the attached shows as possible. The text "K9" and "Officers" will need to be shrunk and not the focus but still visible. I also want to keep the stripes on the logo, which can be moved or adjusted to accommodate the Blue Buddy text addition.

In sum:
Use the original attached logo as a template
Please add the text "Blue Buddy" and make it the focus
Keep the stripes and dog in the logo
Adjust the "K9 Officers" text to accommodate the added "Blue Buddy" Text
Use the highest possible dpi and resolution settings possible for the clearest picture outcome.

Target Market(s)

The target is an older age group. Should have a look very close to original attachment design that is modern but professional.
