Logo Design Brief

The overarching aim of Centre for Fruit Fly Biosecurity Innovation is to provide Australian horticulture industries new tools for environmentally and medically benign control of fruit fly pests (see attached fly images for the correct fly species) in order to protect Australia’s fruit crops for generations. We are a nationally-funded collaborative research network across several universities. We want the design to be simple, stylistic (e.g. the attached kangaroo logo) and recognisable, with the option to combine it with text or not. Also ideal would be if the logo has an element that can be used alone as decoration. We'd like to see the colour green and any other colours that would still look nice if lightened or darkened.
