Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for our first New Year Eve party at our event venue. This will become an annual event. We have a very popular DJ in our area who is also a huge local radio personality.We need something playful but grab attention. Tickets and posters will be printed in color but needs to easily translate when printed in the local indy paper in black & white.

Our event colors will be plum purple & gold. This could change each year but we're not sure yet.
