Logo Design

End Purpose: Logo design is for a school district. This logo will be featured prominently on athletic jerseys, paper documents, digitally, etc. The logo must be embroidery-friendly. If a design is presented that is not immediately suited for embroidery, a modified, easily-stitched version must be included as well.

IMPORTANT: The panther must be black. You can use PANTONE 195 C (#7b303e / CMYK: 36-87-61-33), PANTONE Cool Gray 4 C (#bdbbbb, CMYK: 26-22-22-0), and White as accents only. Lettering should primarily use PANTONE 195 C, with white, black, and PANTONE Cool Gray 4 C for accents if necessary.

The new logo design needs to be energetic and fierce. You have the option to design the panther in whole body or head-only format. If it is a full body design it must have the appearance of motion, such as ready to pounce, mid-pounce, or swiping. If it is just the head it must be snarling or biting, something with teeth bared. Whether it is the panther full body or just the head, it should be at an angle or in profile, not head-on. The text “Panthers” should be incorporated as well. The logo mark and the logo text (“Panthers”) can be conjoined but must be able to function separately as well.

Please be especially careful to avoid existing large cat logo designs, particularly anything similar to the Pennsylvania State University.

Additionally, using a similar style to the above specifications, design a logo text using the acronym “NEB”. Consider claw scratches, panther fangs, or other large cat marks on the text. You can also consider incorporating the logo mark you made for the first part into these letters.
