Logo Design Brief

We (George and Paddy) need a logo and banner for our business which is called
Know Brainer Trivia (or just Know Brainer).

We host weekly trivia nights at pubs as well as one-off corporate or fund raising events. Our format is casual and a bit of fun utilising some multimedia-pop-culture questions via a powerpoint presentation as well as general knowledge questions. We try and have a range of question to cater for all ages and levels.
The winner at the end of the night wins a major prize and there are also bonus rounds during the night for people win minor prizes.

Currently we run one pub every Monday but we are looking to have other people run the content for us at other venues (and other nights) so we can expand.

One of our more popular segments is called "Willywood" where Paddy and I reenact a scene from a movie and ask questions from the movie. (As you will see these are not great quality but done to get a bit of a laugh). For our corporate events we will get the staff from the office to be in the "Willywood".

I have attached an example of one of our PP presentations as well as the questions we asked one night. (Have broken it down into seperate files due to 20MB max)

We have been using a sort-of notepad and scribble feel to the PP text and slides to make it casual and fun.

Requirements

Must have

• Should be fun and playful and casual
• The text should be an informal type font. Scribble, handwriting type fonts.
• The image part of the logo should form the majority of the image. The text should be minor.

Nice to have

• I would like to experiment with images of a brain.
• Maybe even a character brain (with eyes, mouth, hands feet) like a type of mascot.

Should not have

• Should not have a corporate or business feel
• The words "Know Brainer" or "Know Brainer Trivia" should not be the the main part of the logo.
