Logo Design Brief
Aspen GIS Services, Inc needs a logo design. This is a GIS (Geographic Information Systems) company that is principally involved in maintaining boundaries for fire, police, and EMS response agencies as well as accurate address and road information. These data are used by 911 dispatchers to route services to the 911 caller. We also provide training in how to use GIS software packages to solve routing problems like those described above, or to define service areas. Preferred colors are green, yellow, red, and blue. The logo should be more simple than complex using a font that is more modern than classic or traditional. The logo should be more serious than cute. The design should communicate rapid/accurate response. This company focuses on services for rural counties. As a point of reference, a 911 dispatcher issues orders for service within their Public Service Answering Point (PSAP) jurisdiction which varies in size depending on the population from a portion of a city to an entire county
