Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for a new small photography business based in Wellington, NZ called 'GG Photography NZ'. I specialise in equestrian photography (mainly action shots of dressage and jumping), but do some landscapes, portraits and events too. The 'GG' in my business name is short for a 'Gee Gee' or horse as well as being the initials of my surname. I would like to see something streamline, professional and simple. It can incorporate something to do with horses, but doesn't need to. Any combination of upper case and lower case letters may be used in the logo. NZ may be spelt in full if this gives a better overall look and better balance to the logo. The final design will be used over my photographs as well as on my website.

• Clean simple design

Nice to have

• A lettermark would be really nice to see, but again it should ideally be a simple one. Either using letters or a symbol. Different sizes of font could work well to add some depth to the logo. Some examples of the types of logos that caught my eye.

Should not have

• Too much detail or a font that is too floral.
