Photoshop Design Brief

4 Department Slider Composite Images - 2 are outlined here - will have other 2 outlined tomorrow... so just send the 1st 2!

Taking 4 departments listed on our home page - and create a composite type image with multiple photos/graphic overlays etc... along with the department name and byline.... One of the images used is coming from the home page - so that there is cohesiveness and good flow. Additionally - each department image should be unique, but they should all be of the same aesthetic etc... as they are all on the website.

Image size needed is: 1170 X 380 pixels

Once the web versions are successfully completed, these will be converted to Large-scale print quality images for use on the clients' store front windows, so please keep this in mind when creating these to begin with. Sizes will need to be adjusted, and this will be a separate task, but this needs to be kept in mind, and images need to be created with print quality settings and format to begin with.

Department 1 IMAGE OVERVIEW
Background of image:
This department is the company's roots - this is what they started out in... they service architect/engineer professionals, as well as people in the construction/building industry... additionally they are a Portland company, and there's a certain vibe/style about Portland .. that would be described as almost 'hipster' like, but a little hippy/granola... so the 3 professional men really illustrate what people look like/wear here in the PDX area. Because all 3 of these images are all in the same color family, I would like there to be some sort of pop of color that is in congruence with the site design, and staying within the font families etc...

Background:
The Color Department is what the client is expanding and growing.. They've added dimensional printing and custom cutting tools to their department to reach large target markets that focus on point of purchase, promotional, large-scal high end color projects and this image needs to reflect that.
