Logo Design Brief

We are Rivers of Life Ministries, and we are an International Church Ministry looking to rebrand our image with a new designed logo.

Quick background info: Our main church is located in the United States, however we support many partnering ministries in foreign countries that help people all around the world, and we send people all around the world to bring aid and preach the gospel to all. We are helping people every day understand God's unending love for them and help them achieve a brighter tomorrow.

WE WANT TO BLESS YOU FOR YOUR TALENTS & TIME:

So here's what we're going to do. FIRST, we are going to pray for every designer that God will bless and favor your businesses beyond your wildest dreams. We take prayer very seriously here at Rivers of Life Ministries and we've seen God respond to our dedication in prayer many times over, so you and your businesses will sincerely be prayed over!

SECOND, we know that at the end of the day, only one design can be picked in a design contest. Yet, we want to be a blessing to the other designers that we see put some real effort into a beautiful logo design for us, therefore, we are going to take some of the other top candidates in our design contest and promote your businesses through our online website (with a link included to your profile pages on DesignCrowd)! We have quite an extensive network of supporters and followers all over the world, and we believe that this could bring some serious design projects to you and your businesses in the near future! We wanted to be a blessing to you, and this is the best way we could think of! Thank you & God Bless!

LOGO DESIGN NEEDS:

- We are looking to have a logo with a transparent background UNLESS you have a background that looks amazing! (We basically need the logo to look good wherever it is used)

- Needs to include our ministry name "Rivers of Life Ministries" as spelled

- Lettering for name: (our thoughts were lettering should be in a rather smooth, free-flowing, cursive or elegant style font of some sort), yet it should still be readable. We want to see something that really looks nice but stands out at the same time.

- Design Elements to use: World/Globe, Dove (in representation of the Holy Spirit - so it would need to look good), and possibly Water or Water imagery of some sort (in representation of our name "Rivers of Life Ministries"). We would either like to see our logo with a World/Globe and a Dove tied in with our name artistically displayed (could use only part of a World/Globe object; it doesn't have to be a full circle object & the lettering font can overlap/cut into it/go through it/etc.)

OR

Use our ministry name with water imagery/waves/rivers or some scene/backdrop with elegant lettering that looks amazing and fits well with our name, what we stand for, and our image as a world-wide ministry.

- Design Colors: Royal Blue or Blue, Gray, White, Silver (we were thinking possibly put "Rivers of Life" in one color like blue perhaps, and "Ministries" written below in another color like gray or something to that nature. You don't have to do it that way though; we leave it open to interpretation. The fonts can also be different for "Rivers of Life" and "Ministries" if you do two different colors (only do it if it looks good), but once again, it's open to artistic interpretation.

- File Formats needed: JPG, Vector, possibly PNG

Conclusion: Logo with writing and design elements needs to be professional looking, as it is for a world-wide church ministry! Thank you! We want to see creative interpretation from artists for our logo and we look forward to seeing the designs you come up with.


- **Update: We've been getting quite a few designs already, and we thank you for your participation, but we've received many designs that are not really quite what we were looking for (containing objects and lettering that we believe is not really a good fit for us), so, we've posted 3 files below to help some of you out with examples of letter fonts, doves, and world/globe objects to look at that are similar to what we are looking for.
