Logo Design Brief

We need a Logo for our film/animation studio. We make fantasy/science fiction films that have a retro comic feel to them. They are intercut between live action and retro comic classic animation. This logo will be displayed over our backpage (attached for reference) and printed on hats, t-shirts etc. It needs to have a fun 80's retro comic feel to it with the same feel as our backpage. I think it should be two lines with HexLab on top and Studio on the bottom, and possibly almost circular in design, though I will defer to the creative talent of the designer here. It needs to be fun, creative and cool!
