Logo Design Brief

We are looking for an eye-catching logo design for a new weddings & events company based in Toronto. The company is called Dream Weaver Events. We design, plan, and execute flawless weddings and events for diverse couples from all walks of life in the GTA and internationally. The founder and CEO has been working as an independent contractor for another firm, and is officially launching her business in January. The logo should use soft colours that would appeal to bridal couples, soft, cursive or "bridal" looking fonts, and can include images that would make sense for the business (i.e. peonies, florals, dainty gift box, etc - please no wedding bands!) The final design should communicate elegance, beauty, and simplicity. Please avoid anything that looks kiddish. Toronto is a competitive market for events so we would definitely like it to stand out! Uploaded files are for inspiration only of what is currently out there that we love!

Target Market(s)

Newly engaged couples, typically between the ages of 27-40, but the odd time clients are spending more money on a luxe but intimate 2nd wedding or late wedding (i.e. clients are 45+). Trendy young professionals living in the GTA, as well as international clients with the attraction to Toronto events. These young professionals may also be clients that are not bridal (i.e. corporate clients with the need to execute a trendy, fun event, birthday parties, milestone celebrations, etc.)

Requirements

Must have

• The company name, soft colours, preferably no pink.

Nice to have

• I like taupes, greys, purples, blues. Would be nice to have scripted font but am open to options as long as it fits the theme. Would be nice to have a recognizable stock image (florals, gift box, or something like this). I would love some kind of hot air balloons in pastels (mostly because I love them!) I really love the soft, water colour look as well. I love the pale purple and blue hot air balloon I've posted in my images.

Should not have

• Pinks unless it looks very good, wedding bands (do not want to communicate only weddings for business). Anything that looks to childish.
