In your write up, you had said you wanted to stick to those two hex colors. So I used those two colors and it was turned down because they want something "more colorful". Needless to say, I'm a bit confused...

In my write up I said I want the logo to be used on these colors and not using this color, I meant it should look good if the background are one of those colors.
Also the design was very simple, I am looking for a logo and not just a simple text
