Logo Design Brief

I need to create a new and unique logo for our new venture, "Nebula Solutions" Our company is a technology company for cloud based solutions for both voice and Internet services. We will be marketing to C-Level executives at companies with over 500 employees, so a very professional logo is important. There is the possibility for ad campaigns in the future, so I want to make sure it is readable especially from a distance. If there is an image that might go along with the logo wording, I am very open to this. One of the possible tag lines we are thinking of is 'more than just the cloud' referring to cloud computing for voice and Internet services. I don't want the logo to seem gimmicky or cartoony though, but if you have a good idea on how to incorporate Nebula into the logo that would be great. We've already received criticisms that the name sounds like something from "Star Trek", so we don't want to reinforce that idea with the design. I've uploaded several logos that we like for reference.

Must have

• Original, clean and comtemporary logo. Easy to read, and able to be read from a distance. I am not looking for 'space' or 'cloud' themes on the logo, but if you have a great idea, would like to see them.

Should not have

• Super-thin fonts (too hard to read from a distance).
