Hi,
Nice and full of energy contest for new comers.
I want to ask, if we participate in many contest but didn't win/get 1st, 2nd or 3rd prize yet. In this case are we eligible for this project?
Hope, you will give to those a chance to win.
Thanks!
Regards!
hi Bia Artist,
This contest is for designers who are new to DesignCrowd and have never submitted a design here.
Your task is to create a 1 page mini portfolio of the best work from your personal portfolio. These designs won't have ever been submitted on DesignCrowd.
You are asked to select minimum of 3, up to 5 (no more) designs from your own personal work. You can place them on a white background and upload your submission OR choose to style the submission - it's up to you.
We have a team who will review your submission and provide feedback.
Hi new designers!
To clarify, to be eligible for prizes you must be new to DesignCrowd, meaning you have not submitted a design to any project on DesignCrowd.
Your task is to create a single (1) submission that features minimum of 3 to maximum number of 5 designs on the page.
The work should be derived from your own personal work portfolio.
This is a great opportunity to show us your amazing design skills in a single submission by featuring your best previous work.
Regarding styling the submission - we'll leave that decision up to you. But make sure your best work has the space to shine!
1 submission per designer only.

Hi,
I am new to Design Crowd, but I got a message saying we need to submit at least 3 proposals which are accepted by Design Crowd team to verify our account. Hence, I had submitted one design.
So, will I qualify for this contest or not?
Please do let me know as soon as possible.
Thanks,
Pooja Pradeep
Thank you, Jo.
If I make this my first entry to DesignCrowd and in order to be eligible for the prizes, do I have to wait for this contest to end on Oct 1 before I can submit to the other regular contests? And is their a file size limit I need to be aware of for this portfolio contest?
Thanks for your time.

Hi,
It says it should be a mini one page portfolio. Do you have a specific size? Or it can be any size as long as it's only one page?
Hi designers, we've mocked up some layouts to provide a guide for how to layout your submission. Please see the attachments to the brief.

Hello,
That is correct. You will need to submit 3 submissions to 3 distinct projects. You can only submit once to this contest, unless our support team have asked to re-submit based on their feedback.
We recommend you head to the jobs board: http://jobs.designcrowd.com/graphic-design-jobs and find two new projects that interest you and submit.
I hope that helps and thanks for your question.
Kind regards,
Jo
Hi Designers,
This note is about the requirement to submit 3 submissions to verify your account and join the community.
All designers joining the DC community are required to be verified by our quality experts. Once your account is verified than your profile on DesignCrowd, along with your submissions, are public.
The process to get verified involves submitting 3 designs. After you complete your submission to this contest (1 per designer), you should then visit the Jobs Board (http://jobs.designcrowd.com/graphic-design-jobs) and find two new projects to work on.
The quality team will approve or reject your design submissions and if you meet the standards for quality verification you can expect your account to be verified soon after this.
For more information on verification, see this FAQ: http://www.designcrowd.com/help/article/what-is-account-verification-and-how-do-i-have-my-account-verified
