The purpose of the Texas Trappers and Fur Hunters Association is to represent the trappers and fur hunters of the State of Texas who are dedicated to the conservation of fur bearing animals; passage of sound furbearer management legislation; education of trappers and fur hunters in proper management methods; and the promotion of trapping and fur hunting and the use of Texas wild fur.
