Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for a web based women's clothing retailer that sells new and vintage clothing for creative clients who enjoy putting together a unique look. The store's name is Theda - as in Theda Bara, the silent film star from the US known as "the vamp". I would like the design to be bold, unique, fashion edgy, and black and white in color. It will be used on business cards, on the website, social media, packaging and merchandising pieces.
Attach is an existing logo from International Times that features Theda's image as well as a caricature from a US stamp. Also, I included Versace's Medusa logo as something that I enjoy in shape and theme that you may take inspiration from.
