Logo Design Brief

To get a vibe for our style if we were an underwear brand we would look & feel like CALVIN KLEIN.

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE BRIEF!

HBM HAIR a small boutique hair salon requires a new logo. The logo will be used in the usual places including; social media, website & business card.

We are looking for a contemporary logo that is as far from the stereotypical 80's hair salon look as we can possibly get. We would love the new logo to say...simple, modern, effortlessly cool.

Two hero images have been purchased by the owner and one of those images will be used as the website key image. The new logo must compliment both images.

Must have

• > The logo must be simple and contemporary
• > The logo must compliment the two key images selected by the owner
• > The logo needs to be unique & have presence about it
• > A logo that will work across our website, business card, signage and social media
• > We visually picture ourselves as more of a fashion brand than a tradional hair salon
• * We have included some logos that we like just to give a feel for where we could go - this is not an exhaustive list of examples
• * We would LOVE to see our name in a similar version to attachment 4. It would need to have hand written feel to work.
• * PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE NO FONT RESTRICTIONS AS LONG AS IT FITS THE BRIEF

Nice to have

• > Black & white as possible colours
• > If having the logo as an emblem works we would consider it

Should not have

• > NO pictorial elements in this logo!!!!
• > Nothing cheesy please!!!
