Logo Design Brief

I have just started a game studio and I need a logo for my website and for use in games and e-mails.

Irradiated Games will develop various action- and simulation games with a contemporary and/or futuristic sci-fi theme. The games will be developed both for phones and PC's (not consoles initially).

A logo with a metallic and "worn" look (see attachment for style). Perhaps in the style of a nuclear warning sign but if you have a great idea then by all means go for it as I am not completely certain of the style.

The main colorscheme I'm thinking of is black/dark gray and yellow

Target Market(s)

The target audience are both casual and hardcore gamers in the age 15 to 35 years of age. I estimate that the target group will consist mainly of men but women are also the target)

Older people than 35 are a secondary market. Younger than 15 is not.

Requirements

Must have

• - A logo with a realistic looking metallic and "worn" look (see attachment "wornMetal.jpg").
  
  - Radiation hazard sign.
  
  - Industrial style fonts - like on warning signs - Clearly readable.
  
  - The design should in general have a dark and gloomy feel to it, without the need to display skulls and stuff like that.
  
  - I must be able to use the logo for both websites, in games, in e-mails and on printed material such as in letters and on business cards as well.
  
  - A grey scale or black and white variant must be included as well.

Nice to have

• - A glow effect background (see attachment "glow.jpg") radiating from the entire logo. and onto the background.

Should not have

• - Curvy fonts, "typewriter" fonts and handwriting fonts
  
  I am not a fan of highly glossy logos for this project.
