Logo Design Brief
PLEASE READ THE BRIEF AND LOOK AT THE ATTACHED REFERENCE AND INSPIRATION.
We need a logo for a new spice company. It will predominantly be sold online and through farmers markets. The company is called Montecito Spice Company and will sell handcrafted, organic spice blends and unique and hard to find spices. We like classic design lettering and styles....don't like the word "Hipster" but I guess thats our target market to start with. I have attached some inspiration for fonts, styles etc.
Updates
Hey guys,Please take a look at the inspiration and reference images we supplied. They will give you a good idea of what we are looking for with this design. I just don't want you to waste your time by not looking at it. We have a pretty specific look and style we are going for. Thanks! Added Tuesday, August 2, 2016
Target Market(s)
Young, Hip foodies that shop at Farmers Markets, Etsy, online stores etc. So...Hipsters, young people, young families etc. Will eventually hope to target stores such as Wholefoods and other gourmet grocers who are looking for unique spice blends.

Requirements
Must have
- VINTAGE & HIPSTER - It must be fresh and clean, with a classic, vintage feel. We aren't sure if we want cursive or block text, but will look to the design team to come up with some suggestions. A quick google search of "Hipster Fonts" comes up with lots of inspiration. We like the idea of faded or weathered looks as well, and will be using a lot of timber and natural tones in our packaging and eventual store front if that ever happens, so it will be nice to keep his in mind. It will need to be readable white on black as well as black on white.
Should not have
- We do not want modern designs. It'd very important that this has a vintage feel.
