Logo Design Brief
UPDATE - I've attached 2 designs that I like, to help guide what I'm looking for in an abstract symbol to go along with "Mega Public Relations" and "Be Heard" text in my logo. One (with dots in gradually larger circles) represents amplification. I'd love to see your take on this, with my color scheme incorporated. And the second represents a 'starburst' - with each shape being in the form of a triangle, which is also the shape of a Megaphone, so it works with my company name. thank you!
My business is Mega Public Relations... a communications and social media consulting group. The web address will be megapublicrelations.com. I am looking for a logo that conveys energy, light, and happiness. I want it to be clean and crisp, and I don't know if it's way too much text, but I would like to see versions with my name incorporated as well: Meagan Swingle.
Color options are:
Blue, white and yellow
classic red/light grey and white.
Orange, white, and grey
Yellow, Orange and white

I'm reconsidering having my name be a part of the logo. Instead of including "Meagan Swingle", I may want Mega Public Relations and the tagline... "Be Heard" or "Be Heard Above the Noise" whatever works better graphically.

In working on my Word Press site last night, I realized that the space for my logo is rather small. I don't know if there is a way to customize this, but as of now, the space I'm working with on the website, to display my logo, is: 270 x 80 pixels. Even if my standard logo is one size, I would need some version of that logo to fit in this space, unless I figure out how to customize the theme differently. It's this theme, if anyone is curious: http://my.studiopress.com/setup/metro-theme/ - and where it currently reads "Metro Theme" is the space for a logo in the header.
How to Use a Custom Header Image
If you prefer a Logo Image rather than a text based SIte Title it is possible to use a small logo style image that will display in the upper left corner of the site.
- Navigate to Appearance > Header menu in your WordPress admin panel
- Click “Browse” and Navigate to the image you would like to use for a Logo.Images of exactly 270 × 80 pixels will give the best results. Other sizes will be cropped in the upload process to create an image of the correct size.
