Web Design Brief

The LearnWith series is a collection of books focusing on building the same app with different technologies. The purpose of this project is to design a web site home page that can be used to sell the books.

Expected Deliverables
• LearnWith Logo as Illustrator file
• Master graphic design files for any relevant web assets
• HTML and CSS for home page, if applicable

Target Market(s)

The target market for our series is web programmers. They are people who have some experience, but want to learn a new tool. Programmers are analytical, logical people who like structure in the things they do.

Here are some things our customers like:

• Twitter / Gmail
• Gang of Thrones / Walking Dead / Breaking Bad
• SmartPhones, Tablets, Fitbits, and other tech gadgets.

The design should try to speak to that market.

Must have

• The primary tasks for this project are:
• 1) Create "Learn With" Logo.
• * All “DotComIt” properties use a similar logo approach, with the DotComIt ball icon on the left, a reflection below it. The company name is on the right, roughly the same size as the ball icon. A tag line underneath the company name, roughly the same size as the reflection.
• * Company Name: Learn With
• * Tagline: Knowledge to Boost Your Career
• * Logo color is up to the discretion of the designer, but should be compatible with the site design.
• * Sample Logos for other DotComIt properties in Illustrator format are available as attachments to this project.
• 2) Design the Learn With Home Page.
• The home page should follow this format:
• * Logo
• * Nav Bar
• • Buy (The Home Page)
• • About
• • Contact
• * Main Content
• • Home page content detailed in attachment
• * Footer
• • Copyright notice
