Logo Design Brief
Hi all, time for a new brief.
I've received a lot of designs, quite a few of them are really great and I appreciate the effort you have all put in. However, I'm just not seeing what I feel represents myself and my company. So I'll see if I can give a better idea for you all to work with.
I'm looking for something playful, as in not corporate looking. I am a one man business with no plans in the foreseeable future of expanding staff wise so I need something that represents me.
I'm after something that is personable, so not entirely focused on a professional style. There does of course need to be some manner of professionalism but I am looking for something more light hearted. Comic, american hot rod, skull and cross bones, rockabilly are a few styles that come to mind.
I am open to colour, black and white, grey scale etc, but if colour is used try to minimise the amounts to 3 or so, and it will be used on a forest green back ground (work truck)
Modern or retro within these elements are fine, but I must stress that I am not after a corporate look

Have had a few really good designs come through so far so the benchmark has been set! All have been of a modern look so far so I would be very keen to see so vintage/retro ideas.Keep up the good work people! Loving seeing your ideas come to life!Also as a side note, I will be using the winning logo on my work vehicle which is a forest green. I'm happy with having green in designs which can be used for cards, website etc but if green is used it may need to be substituted in some way for the vehicle. Added Saturday, June 25, 2016
Hi everyone, a bit of an update. Had a lot of really good designs come through, and a few not so good. A vast majority are incorporating a home and a magnifying glass. I'm not really 100% on the magnifying glass idea but in some cases, it does look good. I have changed the sliders on the brief to allow for some fresh thinking. I'd like to see some more ideas as I'm still not sitting on a clear winner. Maybe some sort of masculinity and darker ideas, this may or may not work but I'm keen to see some ideas!
