T-shirt Design Brief
We need help to clean up some artwork for a t-shirt celebrating the 10th year of a fisheries research cruise. We have a good idea of what we want - we just need help in making it look good. The t-shirt will have front artwork (in the pocket area) and rear artwork (entire back). It will be a black garment, and most of the design will be outlined in white. In addition, red and yellow will be used on the front design; and orange and red will be used on the back.
I have uploaded a MS Word file called "Shirt artwork description" that provides detailed info on what we would like done with our design ideas. I also uploaded jpeg mockups of where we are with the designs right now. The front design will be a fishhook that is decorated with red and yellow bristles circled by text in Magneto font - there is a photo in the Word document of what the fish hook looks like in real life. The rear design will be crossed fishing poles with a fish hooked onto each fishing line - one fish should look like a bocaccio; the other fish should look like a vermilion rockfish. The Word document provides more detail and some photographs of the two fish.. There is also text in Magneto font on the back as well.
Thanks!

- The details laid out in the Word document, but we are definitely open to changes and suggestions. For example, you could draw the fish to look like real fish, or maybe go for a stylized, cartoon approach. Either way can work as long as it's pretty obvious the two fish resemble the two different species we want: bocaccio (reddish, and sort of streamlined); and vermilion rockfish (orangish and a little taller in the "shoulder").
We are pretty set on having it be a black garment with white outline, and using red, orange, and yellow as described in the Word document. Also we really like the Magneto font in there.
