Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for the Magellan Restaurant of a 5 Star Hilton Hotel on Sal Island, Cape Verde.
The main concept of the Hotel is linked to era of Discoveries, Sailors and World Travelers. Some areas of the hotel correspond to the history of Cape Verde.

The restaurant is named after Ferdinand Magellan, a Portuguese explorer who organised the Castilian expedition to the East Indies from 1519 to 1522, resulting in the first circumnavigation of the Earth.

The Magellan Restaurant is situated on the ground floor of the Hotel. The area has an elegant design, its main colours are: beige, brown and light blue, reflecting the colours of the ocean and the sandy beach.
On the ceiling there are some wooden areas, giving a rustic touch to the space.
