Is there any difference between pine and alpine tree ?

Alpine trees are trees that grow at the highest elevation. Pine is a generic term for all conifers. Spruce and Fur are more specific. Just Google Alpine tree images for reference. There is also the notion of the Alpine tree line, if you look at pics atop high mountains, you can see that vegetation stops abruptly at a certain elevation, forming a line of demarcation...the Alpine tree line. Some of the trees along this line are stunted due to extreme conditions, do not use such examples, but rather more idealized ... with a subtle cannabis reference.
