Packaging Design Brief

He are manufacturing a highly-accurate bias lighting product for home theatre use. The dimensions are roughly 7.5"7x5"x1

We have a logo and we have a product name, which I've attached.

I do like bauhaus design. I also like some of what Apple does in regards to packaging, although I honestly find some of the recent industrial design work from Microsoft to be fresher, as crazy as that sounds. I think that too many people rip off Apple, so it loses some of its uniqueness.

When I think of the packaging, it could be useful to show a screen, but I also really like the look of professional imaging product packaging, such as old film boxes.

Basically, there is a lot of sub par product on the market, with sub par packaging design. I want out product to be clearly different from the quality of the product to the look of the packaging.

• I would like a clean and unique look, with a high end boutique feel because most companies selling in this industry don't put much effort into aesthetics.

Nice to have

• Some design language from the imaging science and home theatre industry, although not clumsily wedged into the design.

Should not have

• I'm pretty open on this, so I'd like to keep an open mind.
