Logo Design Brief

Please look at the logo designs attached! there are a lot :)

Century Medical Hall (萬裕祥 )is a Singapore based traditional Chinese Medicine Company. Our product line faithfully follows 100-year-old recipes that have been handed down from the owner’s grandfather. We are currently intending to rebrand ourselves to align our brand with modern design trends.

We want a design that exudes modern class and elegance with Chinese/Taiwanese design elements. The design should also carry the weight of our 100-year-old traditional Chinese Medicine formula.

Attached are some fonts/designs that have caught our eye. We would like our Chinese name to be incorporated into the logo design. However we would like to keep an open mind and evaluate all types of logo concepts, so please submit all of your ideas.

We need logo and a standard label design where we can add the name of the product. Although our competition is in the logo section it would be ideal for the logo design to come with an accompanying packaging design so that we can narrow down the designers/design for our subsequent packaging design project. Must have

• 1. Distinct, chinese lettermark.
• 2. Clean modernist design.
• 3. Needs to be professional yet not dated.
• (important to confer the idea that this enterprise has roots set in 'traditional chinese medicine', but also perfected according to the standards of modern medicine)

Nice to have

• 1. That the brand name be easily identified in the logo - 萬裕祥
• 2. Open to any colour scheme, but would be ideal if it could complement and reflect the product.
• 3. Also open to any form of logo design but has to again, complement and reflect the product.

Should not have

• 1. Unclear and convoluted design elements
• 2. Anything contrary to the nature of the product
• 3. Necessary that logo is not informal
