Logo Design Brief
In need of logo design that will set the tone for branding a newly established Stand Up Paddle Boarding company, SUP FLO. We offer rentals on the water and deliver to other locations. We sell SUP (Stand Up Paddle board) related equipment, accessories, apparel, ect., online and will have a retail store in the near future. We offer lessons, and will offer classes and workshops in the future. We currently do a lot of community events and activities. A huge part of our success has been community driven. Which is also our intended focus to continue developing various groups and match them with a variety of SUP related activities. Whether it be age specific (all ages), social status like singles or families, Fitness and race groups or travels and tour groups. We want to cultivate a sense of “belonging” to something special, hip/cool, and elite through our brand.

• Owner is from Southern California and is attracted to designs with a beachy feel.
• Shades of blues, greens as a main color is preferred. Adding a splash of color such as coral may be acceptable.
• Looking for a clean and crisp recognizable statement in a logo.
Something to note
The original thought behind the name SUP FLO was sort of a metaphor for “flow” like water or a reminder to let your life flow, sort of like “let it go”. SUP FLOW was taken, and I liked the look of SUP FLO but when the message above became difficult to communicate I used FLO as an acronym for Fun Living Outdoors. People seem to like that but it still doesn’t communicate the bulleted values mentioned above. So… If you feel you have a good tag line to add to the logo design or a catch phrase near it that may do a better job communicating a branding message, then I will pay a bonus $50.00 to the design.
