Logo Design Brief
Bomiso Barre will initially be launched providing Barre classes (combination of ballet, pilates and yoga), along with Pilates and Yoga classes. Although the initial start-up focus is to provide Barre classes in a studio, future growth is an important consideration, including expansion into other class types and longer term, a potential to franchise the concept. Given this, Bomiso will remain the consistent brand / link between all (i.e.. Bomiso Ballroom, Bomiso Circuit, Bomiso Active etc.)
Bomiso is derived from the words Body, Mind and Soul and this is integral to the company philosophy / ethos and operating model. I want the classes and the studio(s) to capture and facilitate all aspects of wellbeing, not just impact the physical.
The final design should communicate this (i.e. colours and flow) and enable Bomiso to be a stand alone logo as well as working with all other potential words that may come after it as described above.
Target Market(s)
Although initially directed towards females ( 18-60), this will hopefully change over time as the company grows to include both genders more evenly and even the ageing population.

- 1. Communicate the company philosophy of mind, body and soul wellbeing and holistic approach to fitness.
- 2. Fluid / flowing / zen!
- 3. Be able to represent an expanding company that will diversify over time and want to appeal to different demographics ie. develop classes for triathletes (Bomiso Tri), include coffee shops in all studios (Bomiso Cafe), develop a fitness clothing line (Bomiso Active Wear)
- 4. "Bomiso" to be a stand alone logo as well as working with all other potential words that may come after it as described above.
Nice to have
- I have experimented with designs and quite liked one that had an abstract person / dancer with the last "o" in Bomiso as their legs. Tried to send it through but there's a problem with the upload function of the website at the moment.
Should not have
- Be gender or demographic specific.
- Should not have a logo that includes the initials BB as this will preclude me from scaling and growing my company into other areas.
