T-shirt Design Brief
I need 10-20 t shirt designs. I have a black/African conscious clothing line. I need design concepts in 3 categories
1. Veganism
2. Yoga and meditation
3. Black empowerment concepts
Gold Magic Inc is a clothing line targeted towards black Africans through out the United States and the world. This project is to focus on shirt design. The designs should reflect traditional and modern African culture including but not limited to spirituality, nutrition, economics, and empowerment. Black Africans are conditioned from infancy that they had no history before the transatlantic and African slave trades. Black Africans are taught that their history began as slaves. When teaching a child that they came from slaves and the concept that they have progressed since that period of time, it has a detrimental effect to the black Africa. Media portrays black Africans in negative ways such as being poor, drug addicts, drug dealers, confrontational, criminals, uneducated, and lazy. When the time comes to highlight the positive side of the black Africans and their history prior to slavery, it is portrayed by white Europeans. Black Africans had some of the most successful kingdoms in the world's history. Mali empire being one, which was the major cultural center in the world. The Mossi empires were the ones that developed large religious systems used worldwide. The Benin empire controlled trades between west Africa and Europe and could be considered the strongest military infantry of their time. The Egyptian empire, also known as ancient Kemet, is well known for its mystery schools and systems that influence the world we still know today. The goals of Gold Magic Inc is to celebrate the thousands of years hidden. We are in the age of information and ignorance is a choice. It is time for the Black African to regain knowledge of self. When a group does not know who they are culturally, misdirection will result. This clothing line is designed not only to empower but to educate and invoke thought on a high level of consciousness.
