Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for our new site (yet to be built) and to use in our print media. The logo could be words, or words combined with a design (such as a stylized pipeline being lifted out of the ground or the sea). We will use it to brand the event and maintain it as separate form our other events. The logo should be eye-catching and scalable - for example, to print on the delegate badges or to project onto - and fill - the screen at the event.

Note: the photos attached are not of pipelines being decommissioned: they are of old pipes. I do not have photos of pipelines being 'decommissioned': I don't thinnk any exist.

The event, in March 2017, will be the first conference on this subject, and will be held in the UK. We organize other pipeline-industry events (see www.clarion.org) and publications (see www.pipelinesinternational.com). I am the editor of the magazine and organizer of the event(s).
