Requirements
Must have
- -Ideally the logo embodies both meanings, but slight bias of something more on the abstract/iconic side (There are already too many "bird" logos and logos of bird silhouettes- we'd love for something more out of the box)
- 2-3 color choices are OK (in any combination of red or blue), but ultimately, the logo needs to look great in all black on a white background, or white on black.
- Logo needs to look good at any scale (as small as the diameter of a dime, or scaled up for posters, etc.)
- Needs to be gender neutral
- Needs to be appropriate for sportswear
- Logo needs to be a mark (think Nike swoosh) as opposed to a word mark. A Letterform mark is OK, but a pictorial/abstract mark is preferable.
- Logo needs to have demonstrate simplicity & elegance in the shapes and lines (the Polo logo [the rider], Lacoste [the alligator] are examples of what we do *not* want). Logos like Apple, Nike, Adidas, twitter [the bird], would be good examples.
