Illustration Design Brief

Our company:
We currently sell life-size doll heads with accessories as an educational product where children can learn to care and style real hair like their own. In order to promote the brand and provide additional learning or skills to each customer, we will be providing a how-to guidebook with purchase.

Project: A short step-by-step guidebook of how-to instructions and illustrations of different hairstyles marketed toward young girls.

I'm looking for the right look for illustration. If you're chosen, we can continue with content, overall design, cohesive pages, and a front and back cover. We anticipate creating multiple books in the future with increasingly difficult hairstyles. Approx. 10 books, 20 pages each.

Requirements

Must have

• *Please create a young girl, cartoonish, with a face similar to our Sara Doll. This character will be the "hostess" of every page and will "speak" instructions to the child.
  
  *One how-to hairstyle per page. Approx 5 hairstyles in a 5-page booklet. Please see attached for hairstyle ideas. If you have your own hairstyle idea, that is welcomed!

  The final design should should be clean, easy to understand (but smart), with an exciting, fun and happy feel. Please see the attached hairstyles for reference.
