Hi Alina, Thanks for your comments.  I''m afraid that this is not an ongoing job, and to be fair to all the great talent who have taken the time to read my brief and submit designs for the competition, I''m only considering work that is being submitted here.

Thanks again,

DT

Thanks very much for your design, it was high in the ranking, but lacked the subtle design cues of the winner.

You will notice that the winning entry has a flavour, in some respects, of the 2010 Winter Olympics held in Vancouver, British Columbia, where the logo is to be used.

Further, the design has the similarities of the Canadian native people's "inukshuk", which is a common and recognizable theme here in the Vancouver, Canada area.

Together, this made the winning design both attractive, clever, and made local area people comfortable knowing that it is a local company.

Your design, while very nice, did not have this stylistic influence that reflected the local flavor.

The winning designer obviously did some research on the area, and we were delighted when we saw the very unique, subtle, and clever winning design.

Thank you again for your design, there was nothing wrong with it, we just decided to choose one that had multiple "dimensions" of meaning for us.

Best regards,

DT
