Logo Design Brief
We wish to develop a logo design for an Australian research centre called CREID (Centre of Research Excellence in Emerging Infectious Diseases). CREID is a vibrant, multidisciplinary community of researchers, linked with public health laboratories and government agencies, working together to safeguard Australia and the region from emerging infectious diseases. Emerging infectious diseases (EIDs) are caused by newly identified pathogens or the re-emergence or spread of existing ones (swine flu, Zika virus are examples of EIDs). Digital technology and genomics will be among the strategies used. The final design should be a simple image that communicates modern technology protecting the public from infectious diseases (public health).

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: The head of CREID is out of the office until April 11 and it's very important that I get her input and the opinions of other stakeholders before we can make a final decision on the choice of logo design. I greatly appreciate being able to extend the deadline by 5 days.
